INUITS verandert van naam
(English Version below) INUITS, het grootste Open Source bedrijf in Belgie zal met ingang van 1 april 2009 met een nieuwe naam door het leven gaan. De nieuwe naam wordt PINUITS, en sluit aan bij de behoefte naar een meer herkenbare identiteit. De naamsverandering was volgens het INUITS team noodzakelijk om als grootste MySQL integrator, meer in lijn te komen met andere grote MySQL bedrijven zoals Percona, Pythian, Proven Scaling. Op die manier zal de link met MySQL voor de community nog duideliijker worden.
“Er zal met nieuwe frisse ogen naar ons worden gekeken. Dit is ons antwoord op het grondig veranderende IT landschap. Deze nieuwe naam zal ons absoluut meerwaarde geven. Wij maken ons sterk dat we binnenkort één van de grootste europese spelers worden op vlak van Open Source. Ons team is er in ieder geval klaar voor” zegt Kris Kerremans, eigenaar van PINUITS.
Het INUITS team is sinds de start uitgegroeid tot één van de grootste integratoren op vlak van MySQL en andere Open Source platformen en heeft meerdere bekende MySQL community members onder haar werknemers.
De letter P refereert naar onze sterke binding en focus met andere P-tools zoals het LamP platform, inclusief APache, PHP, Perl, Python, en uiteraard DruPal.
De PINUITS consultants geven zowel advies aan onze klanten om schaalbare en high available oplossingen te bouwen gebaseerd op Open Source alsook helpen we onze klanten de juiste Open Source tool te kiezen voor hun business vraagstukken.

De letter P in onze nieuwe naam maakt duyidelijk aan de Open Source community dat we een sterk bedrijf zijn op gebied vvan MySQL en Open Source consultancy. Het maakt het ons mogelijk sterke partnerships te creeëren met andere open minded “P “-bedrijven” zegt Kris Buytaert, senior consultant bij PINUITS.

Inuits, the leading Open Source integrator announces that as of today it is rebranding to Pinuits.
As one of the leading MySQL integrators in the low countries the Inuits team decided it would be easier for the community to recognise us as a great MySQL company after rebranding to a more appropriate name in line with the other MySQL Consultancing Companies , Percona,Pythian, Proven Scaling
"With our new name Pinuits, we plan to become an even bigger player in the European Open Source Consultancy Landscape, our team is ready for the next step, " says Kris Kerremans ,owner of Pinuits.
The Inuits team has been integrating MySQL and different other Open Source platforms for over a decade and has different recognised MySQL community members.
The P in Pinuits refers also to our strong focus on other P tools such as Puppet and the full LamP platform, including APache, PHP, Perl, Python, and obviously also DruPal.
At Pinuits engineers will both support their customers with building a scalable and highly available infrastructure based on Open Source tools , and helping the business user to use Open Source tools for his business needs. Pinuits looks at an Open Source integration from both the technical and the human side.
