Inuits at the Netways Nagios Conference
Brasschaat , Sept 9 2008, Inuits, the leading open source is announcing that Tom De Cooman will present a paper titled Open Source Monitoring Shootout written by Inuits at the upcoming Netways Nagios Conference in Nurnberg
The paper , written by Kris Buytaert, Tom De Cooman, Frederic Descamps and Bart Verwilst, and which was the work of the whole Inuits team was presented first earlier this year at the 2008 Linux Symposium in Ottawa, Canada, where it was well received.
The Open source market is getting overcrowded with different Network monitoring solutions, and not without reason, as monitoring your infrastructure becomes more important each day.
Nagios started the evolution, but today OpenNMS, Zabbix, Zenoss, Groundworks, Hyperic and different others are showing up in the market.
Inuits set out to compare the different tools available on the market so it can propose better suited solutions to its customers in this growing market.
